Vancouver based band, Indigo Indigo, formerly known as the Teammates, originally came together in the Fall of 2014 for a local talent show in Burnaby, BC. The group has undergone lineup variations before transitioning to female vocalist Rachel D’Sa, Francesco Calla on drums, and Alec Perkins on guitar. Indigo Indigo’s sound builds layers upon a simplistic, guitar driven, blues-rock sound. Currently coming off of their first ever release, titled The Blood Money EP, Indigo Indigo has generated buzz within the city and local press companies.
Currently, Indigo Indigo has released their first album titled Blood Money EP, on December 10th, 2016. The entirety of the EP was recorded in Vancouver’s very own Monarch Studios with the assistance of Scot Wallace as the main engineer, and was produced, mixed and mastered by Matt Roach. The cover art of the EP was done by artist Cristian Fowlie.
